Local Preschool Information

Below are area preschool names and contact information for your convenience.  The list was compiled by responses from some of our moms.  This is only a sampling of schools that exist in the area and this site doesn't endorse one school over the other.  The list is being provided for informational purposes only.

It is always recommended that you visit the school and meet the Director and teachers prior to making the final decision.   You want to ensure it is the right fit for your child and for you.  

Other important factors to consider while choosing a preschool for your child include the credentials of the teachers, accreditation of the school, the philosophy of the school, curriculum, hours of class, if an extended day is offered, how discipline is handled, snacks, opportunities for parents to volunteer and safety precautions.

Typically, registration for the fall takes place the previous spring.  Some schools have waiting lists quickly, so you may want to begin your search early to ensure a space in your first choice of program.

 

Westborough

Miss Tanya's.   Westborough.  www.misstanya.com.  They offer a few different programs for kids who will start Kindergarten at age 6.

Shrewsbury

Northborough

Church of Nativity.  Northborough.  45 Howard Street.  Phone:  508-393-1210.   Director:  Marilyn McCarthy.   (It is recommended to sign up very early for this school  as they only have morning classes and they fill up extremely quickly!)  Some moms get on a list years in advance.

Northborough/Southborough Integrated Preschool.     For Northborough, classes meet at Zeh School on 33 Howard Street.   Phone:  508-393-4378.     For Southborough, classes meet at Mary FInn School on 60 Richards Rd.  Phone:  508-485-3176.  There is a screening process involved for this program.

Doe Rey Me Preschool.  Northborough.   Phone:  508-393-6360  Director:  Beth McShane.   Address:  295 Crawford Street.  Offers both morning and afternoon classes.
