Playgroup Courtesies/Reminders
It is important to remind everyone of some guidelines:
- COMMUNICATION. Be sure to check your email regularly as communication is through this channel. Be sure to check your SPAM settings and allow email from the group to be received.
- NEW MEMBER REFERRAL. Refer them to northboroughmoms@yahoo.com so they can be officially added to the member directory and important information, recent emails/schedules/news, can be forwarded to them BEFORE they begin attending a playgroup.
- ALL members attending a playgroup MUST contact the host by the previous evening. This is out of courtesy and for planning purposes. Due to space limitations, some of our members may need to set a maxiumum number attending so a headcount is necessary.
- HOSTS, please email your group information they will need to attend the playgroup (typically 5 days in advance). Include directions, contact information, if you have pets (for those members who have allergies), parking, etc. This will give ample time for members to respond to you if they are attending.
- NO SICK KIDS. Use common sense and please do not attend a playgroup with a child who is sick. We all know how rough the fall season can be with viruses, flus, colds, etc.
- FOOD ALLERGIES. If you or your child has a food allergy, please let the host know so appropriate measures can be taken to eliminate that food from snacks.
- TIME LIMITS. Most hosts plan a playgroup for 1 1/2 hours - 2 hours. Hosting time is set by the host. Please respect the limits set as hosts may have other obligations that day. Always assist with clean up!
