Welcome Moms.

The Northborough Moms & Tots is an informal Mom's group/playgroup for kids ages infant to 5 years old in the Northborough, MA area.   Its purpose is to create a venue for moms to meet other moms in the area, share ideas, have fun, and enjoy what the area has to offer while providing a supervised environment for our kids to socialize as well. 

Activities will be planned throughout the year based on member interests.  Regular groups include

• Bookclub
• Monthly Mom's Night Out
• Babysitting Co-op including a  Monthly Couple's Night Out
• Walking Group
• Community Helping Hands Group
• Stork Club (members help to prepare a meal for new moms or a member who has a family emergency or illness)
• Dinner Together (members whose spouses might travel or work late frequently get together for a casual dinner)

Potluck themed lunches, a Family BBQ, Halloween Party, Easter Egg Hunt, Chauncey Lake beach days, a post holiday Yankee Swap, Family sledding days --  all are just a few of the many events and activities we plan throughout the year.

The group continuously participates in a variety of projects to help families in need in our community.  In the past, we have coordinated efforts such as food drives to benefit the local food pantry, clothing drives, Winter Coat and Snowpant Drive, and  a Back-to-School Backpack Drive.   We have also participated in Adopt-A-Family for the Holidays and American Cancer Society's Relay for Life.  

Playgroups typically meet on a weekly basis, year-round and are hosted by Moms on a rotating basis, or meet at a park or playground if the weather permits.   Some of our playgroups are age specific while others include all ages. 

NO MEMBERSHIP FEES - just bring your enthusiasm, creative ideas and committed participation to the group.

We are proud to annouce that our group was chosen as the Mom's Club of the Month in April 2009 by Maggie's Club, a new website for moms groups.
